Welcome to CHOICE
By using CHOICE you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms apply to all versions of CHOICE, including the web app and mobile app.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to use CHOICE. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us straight away.
What you can and can't do
CHOICE is for personal, non-commercial use. You can use it to discover content, track what you watch, and share recommendations with friends. You may not scrape or copy our data, reverse-engineer the service, or use it in any way that could harm other users or the platform.
Your reviews and content
When you write a review or create a list, you own that content. By posting it, you give us permission to display it within CHOICE. We reserve the right to remove content that is abusive, illegal, or otherwise violates these terms.
Third-party content
Movie and TV metadata, images, and trailers are provided by TMDB, JustWatch, and YouTube. CHOICE is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data or for content hosted on external platforms.
No warranties
CHOICE is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we can't promise every recommendation will be a perfect match.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CHOICE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (currently zero — CHOICE is free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute that we can't resolve together will be handled by the Norwegian courts. If you are a consumer in the EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Either way, you can always export your data before leaving.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continued use of CHOICE after changes are posted means you accept them.
